Spanish Classes for Foreigners Preparing to Take the DELE Exam
For those who wish to certify their language skills.
Academia Avenida al Español offers DELE Preparation courses designed both to strengthen your language skills and to help you become familiar with the tests that make up the structure of the DELE, while practicing with real exam materials.

10 or 20 hours per week.
5 classes a week of 2 or 4 hours each
Schedule from 17:00 to 19:00 or from 09:00 to 13:30 (with a 30-minute break).
Level B1, B2 or C1
Format
Semi-intensive or intensive (in-person and online).
Maximum 15 students.
Price: 399 €
Deposit: 50 € (deducted from the final course price).
To obtain the course Certificate of Achievement, you must attend at least 80% of the classes.

1. To enroll in this course, we recommend taking our “level test“; it is also essential that you review our enrollment procedure and refund policy.
2. Course reservations are made online only, so you’ll need to click SIGN UP NOW!, where you must fill out the registration form to make the payment by credit/debit card.
3. The deposit amount is 50 €, which will be deducted from the final course price.
4. For the remaining course payment, we offer the following options:

– At Academia Avenida al Español, by cash payment, provided the amount does not exceed 999 €, or by credit/debit card.
5. Once we receive the reservation form and the deposit payment, we will send you a confirmation email along with the corresponding receipt.
6. Approximately one week before the course starts, you will receive confirmation with the exact class schedule.
7. The remaining amount must be paid at the start of the course.
IMPORTANT for students who need a STUDENT VISA:
You must have paid the full course amount before your appointment at the relevant consulate. In this case, Academia Avenida al Español will issue the following documentation so that the student can proceed with the necessary paperwork:
- Letter of invitation.
- Enrollment certificate.
- Study plan.
- Payment receipt.
- Letter of acceptance.
- If necessary: Accommodation certificate and/or Delay certificate.
To do this, students must provide a copy of their valid passport.
If the visa is denied, the original denial letter will be required for any refund (see refund policy).
Academia Avenida al Español’s cancellation conditions are as follows:
- All course reservation cancellations must be based on fully justified reasons.
- The cancellation notice must be received at least 15 days before the course start date and in writing (email or letter). Academia Avenida al Español must confirm receipt. The date of receipt will be taken into account, not the date sent.
- All courses will run on the scheduled dates provided there is a minimum of four confirmed students. Otherwise, the student will be offered a refund of the amount paid and, if desired, the option to enroll in another course with a different start date and schedule.
- In the event of course cancellation due to the center’s inability to hold it, or other force majeure causes, natural disasters, or physical or personal risk to the student either in attending classes or in traveling (upheavals, state of war, national alert, etc.), the student will be entitled to request a full refund of the amount paid or to change the date.

Spanish class methodology
During classes, all language skills are practiced (listening and reading comprehension, and spoken and written expression). In addition to grammar content, cultural and historical aspects of Spanish culture are also taught to achieve better language immersion in our country. Alongside the classes, activities outside the classroom are carried out so that students can put their knowledge to the test in real situations.
Student assessment is carried out on an ongoing basis through various activities and tests. In addition, the teacher provides personal, private follow-up through our platform.
Spanish course curriculum
In line with the objectives set by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and with the aim of achieving Spanish language learning, the curriculum is based on achieving a communicative and immersive dynamic, adapting to the needs of our students.
Both printed teaching materials and other electronic resources are used.
The use of our platform and the interactive screens found in all our classrooms allow us to access new technologies in order to innovate in education, with a highly enriching and positive impact on students.
Excursions and extracurricular activities
Since we believe that learning a language is not just about studying grammar, at Academia Avenida al Español we encourage language learning and cultural immersion through special activities that usually take place outside the classroom.
– Free activities:
- Competition-style challenges to discover the city and practice Spanish.
- Traditional breakfast with “churros.” In this case, students only pay for their own consumption.
- Tapas day to get to know our cuisine. This activity is free; students only pay for their own consumption.
- Film day (usually once a week). Students can watch films and documentaries in Spanish on our center’s interactive screens in order to learn about Spanish and Latin American culture.
- Celebration of World Literature Day, language exchanges, etc.
– Activities that are not free, although they may be included in some courses:
- Guided tours of central Málaga.
- Guided tours of the Alcazaba of Málaga, the amphitheater and the entire old part of the city with a Spanish-speaking guide.
- Visit to the Pompidou Museum in Málaga, one of the most important in the city.
- Visit to Selwo Aventura.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Academia Avenida al Español’s teaching staff are university graduates, either native speakers or holders of an accredited C2 certificate in Spanish, with extensive experience as teachers of Spanish as a foreign language.
From A1 to C1 (Common European Framework of Reference for language levels). To find out more about your Spanish level, we recommend taking our “level test“.
Students must be at least 14 years old to enroll at our center.
Although we recommend taking the “level test” before signing up, at the start of each course the teacher will check whether your level is suitable for the course you enrolled in.
However, whether the classes turn out to be too easy or too difficult, you can ask your teacher to change groups.
Upon completing your course at Academia Avenida al Español you will receive a Certificate of Achievement. In addition, you can choose to take the SIELE GLOBAL exam at our center or take one of our DELE Preparation courses to sit it at one of the official exam centers and certify your level of Spanish.

No, our Spanish courses for foreigners do not have additional registration fees.
When you enroll in one of our courses, you will pay a deposit; however, this will be deducted from the final course price.
10 days before the course begins, we will contact you by email to inform you of your group’s schedule within the time slot you previously chose when enrolling.
Yes, but to extend your stay it is essential that you start the paperwork 60 days before your STUDENT VISA expires. For this, you can rely on the legal advice of Rocío Valero, our immigration law specialist, whose services are included in the courses that indicate so.
Academia Avenida al Español works with high-quality student residences and professional real estate agencies.
Upon request, we will provide all the information relating to accommodation and, if necessary, arrange the booking with them in order to issue the corresponding accommodation certificate, if required.
Depending on your choice, most of the accommodation offered by the real estate agencies or residences we work with is close to our center’s location.
Academia Avenida al Español is located in central Málaga, in a very well-connected area for public transport.
Yes, we are in contact with residences that offer shared rooms, as well as the possibility, through real estate listings, of renting an apartment. Ideally, you should let us know as soon as possible in this case.

No, our accommodation arrangements are exclusively for our students.
No, smoking is not allowed in the rooms or common areas. It is permitted on balconies/terraces.
Due to the high demand for Spanish courses, it is best to enroll at least one month in advance, provided you do not need a STUDENT VISA. In that case, it is best to do so three months in advance.
Yes, Academia Avenida al Español will issue the following documentation so that the student can proceed with the paperwork:

Students who, despite meeting the documentation and other requirements necessary to obtain the student VISA, are denied one, may request a refund by sending a copy of the Denial Letter.
The refund amount will be reduced by the number of days that have elapsed since the start of the course, a period during which the student may take their classes online.
- No refunds will be granted to students who do not submit the official rejection letter from the embassy or consulate.
- When a refund is granted, bank charges related to transfers, exchange rates and express mail costs will be deducted from the total refundable amount owed.
